Join us for an alfresco movie and dining experience in the Villa de Austin! The opening act is "Lillian," a dramatic short film set during the Runaway Scrape. Afterward, you'll enjoy select portions of the award-winning documentary "San Antonio & The Alamo" with the film's writer, producer, and director Mike Vance on hand, providing commentary and answering questions.

The Farmers Hotel will serve as the setting for beer and wine service. The replica 1830s bake oven will be fired up so that guests can purchase ready-made pizzas to be cooked and sliced on demand. Local scouts will be selling popcorn, and the Friends of San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site will also be on hand with snacks and drinks for sale.

The event begins at 7 PM and concludes before 10. This event is donation-based, so pay what you can. (Regular museum admission is $10.)

Seating is not guaranteed, and the venue is outdoors at night, so bring a headlamp or flashlight, blanket and lawn chairs, and some bug spray. This experience is best for those 13 years of age and older.
